Initial Energy Services, LLC was formed in 2004 by Peter Margolis and Michael J. Wood. The founding principals have over 50 years of combined experience in the oil and gas industry. With our close relationships and collaboration with the most talented Petroleum Engineers, Geologists, Drilling Contractors, Geophysicists and Landmen in the industry, our principals have successfully drilled or participated in wells in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas and California.
